To extrude a shape to a linear form

  1. Select the Extrude Shape to Linear Form tool.
  2. Identify the shape to extrude. The edge that is selected when the shape is identified will become the baseline for the new extruded form.


  3. Accept the selection with a data point. The shape extrudes.
